I've been on it all. I'm am now 60 and have been dealing with this since my teens. 9 years ago the only thing left to do was major surgery. I had more I and D's to last 2 lifetimes, but for the past 8 years I have been 98 percent free of cysts and pain. If it is a severe or almost severe talk to a doctor about surgery as an option.
