Meds never helped me either and I am not interested in biologics myself due to the absurd risks that come with them. Switching up my diet completely, quitting smoking(not sure on your daughters age), style of underwear I wear (I now wear compression shorts/briefs that cover my thighs. Extra showers, keeping my skin from rubbing together (again underwear style change for me), I use the Dial Gold bar soap, Hibiclens (the red one), as hot as I can take epsom salt baths 3x a week, weight loss, minimal processed junk foods, very little fast food, cut out sugar for the most part and regular exercise has helped me be 98% flare free for the last 6 months. I also take a plethora of vitamins and supplements and also drink 6 liters of water a day. I am stage 2 myself and 32 years old.

Put honey on it and cover lightly with cloth. I have done that all night while asleep so did t think about the stickiness.

Try using this stuff it’s a wound cleaner and it’s what they have been using on me after my surgery to stop any kind of infection or anything like that if you read the name of it it means antibiotic that is what the last couple of letters mean put it on cotton wool and soak it and wipe all around the skin area that is infected you can get this from your doctor 👨‍⚕️ nurse 👩‍⚕️ or even eBay here it is below 👇 In the photo

Don’t use tea tree oils it blocks the pores in your skin and you will make it worse

Also if I can help it I try to gauze any open flare ups to try and prevent it from spreading on my skin with a little TAO or Bacitracin ointment. She can also try a natural coconut oil mixed with a little tee tree oil on any areas not open and oozing. Don’t put the tee tree oil directly on skin without mixing it into coconut oil first. Hope she finds relief soon.
