My 16 year old son has HS and was 325 lbs and is now down to 260 lbs just by me cutting out sugar drinks and no longer letting him eat things like chips. I also have to buy only enough food for like 2 days at a time so he has to limit his portion sizes. I buy healthier now read the labels before I buy anything to make sure it's low in fat, try to have no saturated fat, low in sugar, low in sodium, high in fiber, basically a heart healthy diet he eats some fruits low in sugar , and I've added vegetables to every meal. I also buy 8 inch paper plates to help with kind of tricking his mind into thinking he's eating a larger amount then he is. He eats breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, a small snack. So he eats a good amount just smaller portions and healthier options. We go for walks usually every other day when it's cooler outside usually in the evening so he won't sweat like he would during the day. It was really hard on him at first and he still has his moments of struggles with it. I try to get stuff that is similar to things he loves like I buy the Ice sparkling water which is fizzy like soda and like popcorn or rice cakes help for a chip craving. He really doesn't have an option though because he can't exactly tell me what to buy at the store because he's a kid and I'm the parent. It might be a little more difficult if I was making the choices for myself. His dad has HS and has had 3 surgeries because of it and I saw and was there to help him through it and I don't want my son to go through what his dad did. Since my son has been loosing weight and Ive been having him eat healthier his HS is not flaring up as bad as before. He also takes omega 3 vitamins daily too. Sorry this is so long and I'm not sure if any of this was useful for you.

I'm sorry I can't even imagine all you are going through. I did happen to think of a way to loose weight without sweating. Swimming. They have like acuatic classes at the YMCA and at the Rec centers with pools.

Hi Arena,
Let me tell you what I've been doing. Believe it or not, I've lost about 20 pounds since moving back to IN from FL. I didn't have as many flares in FL (ocean and chlorine) anyways, my husband works nights, and I'm sort of on his schedule. He goes in at 9pm and gets home around 7am. I stay up til 1am-4am +last night was 6am lol anyways, he's lost about 12 lbs but he just started it a month ago. I started in September ish. Anyway, I've been on WW for about 5 years, basically maintaining, and not always staying on the diet. We stayed in hotel and ate out most of the time for 3 months. So I'd say Dec/Jan is when I really started, buckled down. We have been fasting. Since we sleep late, just eating supper and maybe a snack. If you Google it, you fast for 12-14 hours and then eat whatever you want for 6-8 hours (within reason lol, can't eat cheesecake for 8 hours lol)
I'm so used to making healthy suppers and snacks that's what we eat, fish, pork, chicken, an occasional steak. I'm getting into charcuterie boards right now (always have veggie and fruit trays anyway, especially when grandkids are over lol so, I usually have broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, sweet peppers, and a ranch dip I make, fresh in season fruits. Cheeses, salami, pepperoni's, (not many meats) crab and shrimp (omega). Always low carb, low sugar, and very little dairy and red meats. Keto basically, but my dietician helped me with my diet several years ago for my diabetes type 2. I hope these help. Also, I walk a lot, garden, and walk treadmill at Planet Fitness (haven't been in awhile lol) I have stairs here at home, which is keeping me maintained in weight. I'm down 18lbs. Not really been strict either. I'm a vinegar and salt chip girl and a sour patch kids girl. Lol I have up pop 8 years ago and lost quickly also. I drink water with lemon or flavored water that doesn't have aspartame in it. Sometimes with if I can't find any without it. Good luck!! Btw, I only walk in treadmill about 10-12 min so I don't break a sweat. Then shower and dry directly after. No panties, just lose shorts/sweats and no bra. ❀️ Sorry that I wrote a novel. I am a writer and just can't stop πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I walk on a treadmill in a cool gym or home. Then the key is to use the hibicleanse after working out even if you dont think you've sweated. If you need to exercise then chances are you have a belly and thats where the heat starts up!

I’d definitely say another option is portion control, since I’ve been cutting down my meal sizes I’ve noticed I’m maintaining a good weight.
As for exercise I’d recommend clothing like this in the link here. https://hidrawear.com/

Also I had parts of my sweat glands removed that has improved my condition slightly not sure if this is a option for you but it’s relived symptoms
