Any Tips For Reducing Flare Ups In The Summer?
A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

With the summer coming and the increase in temperature in my area, I have been having a lot of flare ups in my groin. I go on and off doxycycline, as well as use benzaclin topically. I have gained some weight (that I'm trying to lose) so I have been sweating more. Any tips for preventing or helping flare ups in the summer heat?

I make sure to wear cotton clothing, no elastic touching my skin. I prefer to wear the ladies boxer type undergarments too. I will also use an anti-chafing gel to prevent flare ups in addition to surgical dressings in the groin of each leg. Hope this helps?

I use hibiclens. You get it at Walmart ask the pharmacist
Its a microbial scrub it helps with bacteria. They use it in hospitals.
