I got HS late in life around 72. First under breasts/ arm pits but after a couple years of treating them with everything from HS page it went away. Then year later it showed up in groin, labia , pubic area and had many rupture (all.blood, and lots of scarring. Unfortunately that is right. When my current dermatologist said there was no such thing as vulvar hidrenitis I knew I had to change. Finding a female dr in Atlanta area or north ga is difficult. I got a few recommendations so will try to get an appt.

Oh no, I hope that you're able to find a doctor who's heard of HS, MaryAnne. Unfortunately, a lot of doctors have never heard of it. When I last went to the ER, everyone who attended to me had never heard of it. Finally, they sent an older doctor who was familiar with it.
