Ive literally got it every thats comon except arm pits and its everywhere that isnt common in mouth down ear canal outside of ears corner of eyes face scalp arms hands upper and lower legs stomach back butt outside vagina as well as inner vagina lips and clitourous. Literally everywhere. Idk what to do there are no hs resources where I live except one or two and I do not recommend Johnson Dermatology as it pops up on this site for diagnosis and treatment of HS. Though my experience was not great and they didn't listen to what I was telling them I was experiencing and argued about a matter i went to them about.

Can you get hidradenitis suppurativa around or in the eyes, mouth, and lips?

HS can appear on the face, including around the mouth and lips, though it's less common than in typical areas like armpits and groin. Several myHSteam members have reported lesions on their face, lips, and inside their mouth.

Can you get hidradenitis suppurativa around or in the eyes, mouth, and lips?

HS can appear on the face, including around the mouth and lips, though it's less common than in typical areas like armpits and groin. Several myHSteam members have reported lesions on their face, lips, and inside their mouth.

One member shared: "Mine came in the face too. That started last year when I went to sleep and woke up with my nose swollen, then my lips and my jaws. I get them inside my mouth also."

However, HS typically affects areas with hair follicles and sweat glands. Mouth sores are usually not directly caused by HS, though some research suggests people with HS may have a higher risk of oral health problems.

Regarding the eyes specifically, the search results don't mention HS occurring directly in or around the eyes. HS develops where hair follicles exist, and while facial HS can occur, eye involvement isn't documented in the available information.

If you're experiencing lesions in these areas, it's important to see your healthcare provider for proper diagnosis, as other skin conditions can cause similar symptoms in these locations.
