It might surprise you to see the symptoms of staphylococcus areus infection, I believe doctors are wrong about origin of hs just Google this bacteria, I've been told it's what caused my hs by doctors years ago, see what you think.
Matthew 2, I took doxycycline in different doses, but think I also became immune. It no longer helped at all. Asked for Bactrim and it did seem to help, but still not completely cleared.
I use hibiclens and other natural soaps that are hydrating to combat the dryness from hibiclens.

Im going to see a dermatologist soon to ask questions but was wondering if you guys could help. Has anyone had laser hair removal on a region affected by HS (i.e. armpits)? On the antibiotics I am taking currently I don’t think it would be possible, as it make my skin very sensitive to light (and I have an already very sensitive to the sun skin), but after my 3-4 months treatment off doxycycline, I was wondering if it might be helping. You know, it's ironic, but I get email updates from that medical site I was telling everyone about, Practice Update. They just did another study on laser treatment for HS in adolescents! 😉
My dermatologist suggested this to treat HS. Has anyone went this route?
I'm on it for liver issues and it has never had any effect on my HS
