It’s been recommended to take a bleach bath during a flare up, but I can’t recall the strength of bleach the doc suggested, and I’m not sure where to find it. Anyone know what she’s talking about?

Smell
A myHSteam Member asked a question đź’

What kind of smell do you have with HS?
Having an issue, but really don't know what's going on. The dr says I have been taking in to much protein, and need a more balanced diet. Been drinking more water and switched up my eating, but the smell seems to keep coming back. Definitely calmed down some, but still smell it from time to time. Please help, never had an issue with it before, after I turned 40 it came out of nowhere.

What Are The Best Ways To Treat A Flare Up?
A myHSteam Member asked a question đź’

Never really been told what to do or what to use to help during a flare up. I generally squeeze out as much as I can & using shop bought dressings or plasters to cover them before & after rupture but this can cause more skin to be affected & create more lumps. Feels like I can't win so I try my best to make it comfortable enough to get dressed.
