How To Treat A New Bump Under The Skin.
A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

Have a new hard lump the size of pencil eraser under the skin. At first it was pink all around it the size of a dime but now is turning very dark purple. How do I treat this? It isn’t coming to a head or anything. It isn’t growing. It doesn’t hurt. Just the skin over it and around it turning very dark.

Get a white sock. Fill with a little white rice, enough to cover area nicely. Heat in microwave about 30 / 45 seconds. Sock will be very hot. PLEASE USE CAUTION. Remove sock and apply to bump. The more times done in a day, the faster the relief.
Good luck everyone. 🙏🏽

I had to use draw salve or triple antibiotic salve 24/7 to keep it open and draining constantly until all pus was gone. I also took really hot baths to help it drain. When it had pus I took hot baths 2 to 3 times a day if possible. Then if it had blood only or clear yellow, emphasis on clear I switched to Benadryl clear lotion mixed with ground nutmeg to stop the needless oozing of clear liquid and blood. Mine was mostly blood. Mine would close if did nothing and didn’t cover with anything but it would reinfect over and over and come back again and again. So once there was no sign of cloudy pus and running blood I kept nutmeg and Benadryl on it 24/7 changing any time there was a buildup of leaking blood or fluid or anytime it dried out. Usually that was 2 or 3 times a day. I checked it often. If I woke up in middle of the night I’d sometimes change a bandage. I would mix up small batches 50/50 into a paste in a shot glass or cup and cover with tin foil and use as needed. I couldn’t leave mine uncovered without medication because it would hold fluid inside and get infected all over again and Od be starting from scratch. If I left it uncovered germs got back in it because mine was next to my pee pee and I couldn’t keep urine and sweat off it. I would massage the mixture into the bump then wipe it off good and then put some on it neatly and cover it with waterproof bandage.
