Bonbon, I am trying very hard to beat h.s. My husband, who still works, has had 3 surgeries on his back and has chronic back pain. Two of my best friends have diabetes and I don't so far. My own half brother is having housing problems. Of course, I know people who have problems worse than mine. However, I have been really on the path to trying to get some resolve on the h.s. only after it spread to my breasts in 2020. I have had h.s. since 1998 and worked and was married to the same man I still am married to. Believe me, I am doing everything I know to fight it. I do need to do more research and try harder. I am grateful for the things I do have and grateful that I don't have many disabilities. It gets a lot more up close and personal when I have had breast surgery in 2020 and 2021. Been on Humira most of 2022. So, if I sound like I hate h.s, I do. But more than that, I want to beat the h.s. devil πŸ‘Ώ to death.

Bonbon, Thank you so much!!. Yes, and least he is doing the blood work. But, it is scary. Too many side effects. I am pretty sure I won't be able to continue it, as now I get well and a couple hours after I take it I cannot eat and if I do then throw it up. Have a great afternoon!!🌈

I hope everything is ok with you Trina.....I find Humira to be very scary! The side effects are crazy, and I realize not everyone will get all of them, or any of them, but I don't want even 1 of them. I got fed up with Dr's treating me like a guinea pig years and years ago. They really are experimenting with alot of us still. They are in a position to help and I know they try, but I would prefer they say I really don't know how to deal with this. The problem is that there is no cure, but it gives people hope that a Dr want's to get them to try a certain drug! We can all hope they are working on a cure! I hope you feel better soon!!

Bonbon, Oh no, not giving up here. I have been very sick. I told Linda and Fatima. I posted Linda under Eddie's lottery win page. I got rid of the staph infection, but a cpl hours after I took my Humira shot Friday, I started getting sick again. Have been throwing up everything I eat. My left breast is draining blood and pus. I was very much considering E.R. yesterday. My dermatologist called me in some more Cephalexin, and gave me blood work to see if my body has developed antibodies against Humira. So far, this morning have been able to keep breakfast down. I resisted taking Humira for years, but a surgeon told me a couple shots of it would dry up my boobs. So, I tried it. So after 8 and half months of taking it, here I am sicker than ever. I know, I feel like a guinea pig. My dermatologist is a caring man. I just don't think he knows either. That is why I am looking into a h.s. specialist in Houston. There was one listed under the h.s. foundation site in Houston named Craig Teller. I have to get well again before I can make another move on it. I only have the h.s. and high cholesterol. So far, no diabetes, lupus, Crohn's or other complications. I am scared to say that to as something will happen. I get the h.s. in my groin and my boobs. Not underarms, also knock on wood cuz the devil πŸ‘Ώ will attack. One doctor thinks this on my boobs is mastitis which is usually only in breastfeeding women but can happen after menopause. However, the majority of doctors think it is h.s. related. Hope you make your beautiful sculptures today and enjoy your 🐢 dog.

Geez Trina, you have alot of your plate! I thought you were sounding like you want to give up! A cure would be incredible. I sure hope there are lots of people doing research on HS!!! I think Dr's should join this page as well and maybe they would know what HS is, instead of experimenting with all of us! Dr's appear to get a financial kickback for prescribing certain drugs that don't really work and treat us like guinea pigs!
