Lol! I just printed off a bunch of medical reports to educate my doctor. She said people can’t get lymphedema in genitals. I’ve had some swollen lymph nodes and a little swelling. So educating her in case I need some tests on my lymph nodes.
I deleted it again what the hell is getting back to the answer again that I'm not sure if the number has gone up but there was literally only 10 doctors that were experts here in Massachusetts I got to in women since supposed to be one of the best and my dermatologist didn't know anything about it he goes oh I've heard about it but isn't acne veicesa from the HS that's when I reached in my purse and I got the pamphlet that I got from BS on HS I said you need to read this
I find the only thing I could really do for pain is to put a large band-aid with some Clindamiacin on it and at least that keeps it from rubbing against your pants or rubbing against your shirt if we're talking about underarms...
I have found over the years that a Band-Aid over the breakout really helps it to stay under control.
great idea @A myHSteam Member on educating your doctor.
My GP is reluctant to prescribe anything, I had to ask for co-codamol 15/500mg and she prescribed it as a one off 🙃 Not sure if the specialist will be able to suggest anything to my GP
