Do Antiseptic And Antibacterial Creams Help With Flares?
A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

I would like to know if antibacterial creams can be used on flares and if anyone does use them and if they received any irritation or if it helped.

I would not use any of those. I ve been there and done that. Use a sensitive/fragrant free shower wash. To cover i just use a Costco paper towel spread a thin layer of vaseline so the paper towel won't stick to your skin and tape with paper tape has a good hold and won't hurt when you remove. Blessings

That's why I am thankful to have this fourm to let people who don't know what to do and we can try to give them some kind of comfort until they find the right Dermatologist..... Would you agree?😀

Lynnette, I don't like to use no more than what my Dermatologist prescribe. The skin is the largest organ of the body and we have a problem with it already. We can't do more harm to it. We have to be real careful.😀
