Hi — in January 2020 I had surgery to remove a cyst from my breast by breast surgery team. However, I kept getting the growths in the same spot for the months following the procedure, and it even grew in the other breast and was even more painful. I found out in August 2020 from a dermatologist that I have HS. Has anyone ever experienced a misdiagnosis that led to surgery?? If so, have you sought out legal action? I was misdiagnosed months ago and I’m going to a different dermatologist tomorrow. Also going back to the one that got it wrong later in the week to let her know. I’ll keep y’all posted!!! If she would have caught it months back I wouldn’t look so messed up!
