I was diagnosed w HS a year ago and pcos about a 6 years ago and I’ve doing a lot of research.
I tried using tea tree oil and it helps somewhat but lately I’ve been having flares more often.
I’m currently taking metformin and ibuprofen for pain along w a topical cream for antibiotics and quit smoking weed because I read it exacerbates flares.
Wondering if maybe laser hair removal could help diminish the frequency of flares.
Has anyone else had it done and did it improve your condition?🤔

Im trying to figure out "what" is causing my mast cells to be triggered & keeping this inflammatory nightmare going. I dont smoke, not obese but i DO have chronic pancreatitis. I read that insulin resistancy can play into HS. Ive also had a problem with candida which keeps mast cells inflaming everything. So im curious 'if' my long time gimpy pancreas has caused a blood sugar problem thats causing candida and HS?
Thanks. I think the blood sugar is causing the candida. Which in turn keeps my mast cells triggered and causing constant inflammation. I want sure if anybody on here has candida issues as well?

My mother use to call these fat bumps, boy was she wrong. After having back surgery, I discovered that my pancreas was nicked and I became a type 1 diabetic. Make your bandage. Get a paper towel (I use Costco brand) cotton ball in the middle, and I use paper tape (Amazon box of 12 forgot $) Vaseline so it won't stick to the skin. Good luck
