I'm a OTR TRUCK DRIVER, I had surgery on my left butt cheek, they cut it open in several places to let them drain had to have them repack 3x a day to absorb the pus. Started out using Humria Pin. This month she's starting me on Cotentxy. Spelled it wrong, but she says it better than Humria, I sure hope so.

Ask your doc to prescribed you some betamethasone ointment. Not a cure but it helps. Now as far as that polinidal cyst... that was an extensive surgery. Took months to heal. 😔

Kelli..I am so sorry! My son gets the HS breakouts on his buttocks also. So painful and hard to treat. He is embarrassed to ask me for help in this area but you need help when HS rears it's ugly head. He does his hypacleanse (I know I spelled that wrong) but I have to apply his antibodic cream and observe its progress. It is so helpful to have someone who can help with this area and to please not feel embarrassed when asking for help.

Oh my goodness! Our stories sound very similar. I had a Pilonidal Cyst removed from my buttocks in I believe 2014. It was the most excruciating pain I have ever been in.

I wasn't diagnosed with HS until about 4 years ago and my dermatologist had me try the Humira Pen. I had to stop using it because it knocked my immune system down so much that I was hospitalized with Pneumonia twice.

Now my dermatologist wants me to try Cosentyx, but I am leary to try it after the problems with the Humira. Thank you for your response. It helps me know I'm not the only one out there going throught this.
