Are There Any Remedies Or Medications I Could Find To Lessen The Pain?
A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

So I started Humira in December of 2021. I really liked all of the effects and things that it gave me the freedom to do. Well recently i finished my second 3 mon prescription. I was told id get the medicine for a year but it was actually for a total of 6 months and in 2 increments of 3 months worth of medication since my doctor instructed me to take it once a week. So Im Suspected To Have HS. I've Got 1 Boil Under My Arm That Hasn't Stopped Draining For Like A Week And Another One Showed Up Yesterday
A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

It hurts so bad yall, they're swollen and I don't even know how the second one popped up. I'm allergic to the adhesive on bandaids and medical tape and I don't know how to keep bandaids on my arm without tape. Any tips on wrapping an armpit? I can't even lift my arm without being in pain.

A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

Burn gel seems to help the most but they are between $8 & $14 for 2.5oz depending on where you get them and we go through 3-4 per day. Any idea where to get this cheaper or in bulk sizes? Has Anyone Tried Any Herbal Remedies To Treat Flare Ups/ Keep Their HS Under Control?
A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

I have started to have severe flare ups again after 7/8 years from when I managed to get my HS under control through the use of antibiotics. I am speaking with my doctor to get prescribed some more medication to get this flare up under control, but I am wondering if anyone has had success with any herbal remedies? I don’t want to have to be dependant on antibiotics for the rest of my life should this continue. Thanks in advance :)

Are They, Scientist, doctors, whoever, Seriously Working On A Permanent Resolution To HS?
A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

My now 17 year old daughter with Down Syndrome has had HS stage 3 since the age of 12. Between 2020 and 2023 she has had 58 procedures, alternating every other month between having botox injections and laser hair removal. We still get boils in the groin area because we just knew she wouldn't be able to handle that procedure, so vicks vapor rub is… read more
