Has anyone tried supplements for inflammation with some success in reducing flares? I’ve seen online that zinc, fish oil, ALA, and other supplements can help. Any experience with these?
I take 40mg zinc per day.
I don't think that it does much.
I had been taking fish oil for a while but stopped and noticed I got a flare a day or 2 later so I think the fish oil helps. I’ve been taking zinc for about a month, not sure if it’s helping. And I just started taking turmeric, so time will tell if it helps. I also take calcium, magnesium, vitamin D to help with depression. So many pills! But if it helps it’s worth it.

My doc prescribed Zinc. I also take Vitamin C and D. Fish oil, calcium, Silver as needed, chlorophyll, and melatonin for sleep.
